Vail, CO Series
Opportunity to invest in your next piece for your art collection
I hope this finds you in high spirits!
Many of my collectors have expressed interested in a completed piece from Vail, CO. Few may know, I have been planning an excursion to Vail in order to produce a new collection. I typically work with collectors and sponsors to go on these excursions. I am currently looking for new investors for my Vail series and as an investor, you will have first choice on all new works from the Vail series.
Your investment would act as a deposit directly towards the cost of any works you select.
This excursion would include myself and my assistant performing two full day hikes and one 3 hour hike in Vail, Colorado with the intent to produce a new series. The Vail series will include 2 large pieces as well as prints and two rolls of film.
Following is the allocation of your investment.
Projected Hikes
Eagles Nest Wilderness - Booth Falls: 3.9 mile trail. Projected 3 hours active hiking. Experiencing this trail has the opportunity for waterfalls and running streams. With plenty of forestry and elevation, I expect to move in and out of tree coverage. This will allow me to have opportunities for pictures both during the hike and at lookout points.
White River National Forest - Lionshead Rock: 6.3 mile trail. Projected 4.5 hours active hiking. This lovely, uphill hike boasts heavy forests and high elevation. Most of this hike is covered under a canopy of trees and greenery. The lookout point at the apex of the climb provides for an open view of the sky and surrounding mountains. This is where I plan to focus my picture taking.
White River National Forest - Eagle’s Nest Ridge Route: 6 mile trail. Projected 4.5 hours active hiking. This trail is located at Vail Ski Resort and easily has the most wildlife sightings of the trails I’ve selected for this visit. With little forest coverage, there will be plenty of opportunity for picture snapping.

Photographs taken with 1930s Brownie Box and Medium Format analog cameras
While most pictures will be taken using my digital camera, I will also be bringing two vintage film cameras (circa 1930 and 1945). Both cameras have been restored by myself and use 120mm film and medium format film respectively. Film negatives will not be for sale, but may allow me to produce prints with rich texture in black and white. Contact sheets will be made available for viewing.
